Come explore how convergence is reshaping the energy, environmental, and natural resources sectors - and what these changes mean for educating the skilled technical workforce. This year’s Convergence Lab is being jointly led by the CREATE Energy Center and the EARTh Center, and explores the utilization of SCADA in areas such as wastewater management, water quality, and the energy industries. Learn about the curriculum and training tools that ATE projects are developing and using in the classroom for workforce development. Organized by ATE Central, the ATE Convergence Lab brings projects, centers, and other members of the ATE community together to make connections, share ideas and expertise, and explore emerging technologies and practices. This one-day, hands-on, interactive event is designed to spark conversation and collaboration across disciplines while examining how convergence is creating new opportunities and new workforce needs, across these rapidly evolving fields.
