ATE Conference Code of Conduct

The American Association of Community Colleges (AACC) seeks to foster a welcoming and intellectually stimulating experience for all participants. The ATE PI Conference is a place for the open exchange of opinions by diverse individuals; and respect and inclusivity for all is expected. In furtherance of this purpose, any behavior, whether personal or professional, that is unwelcome and offensive, or shows disrespect or aggression will not be tolerated.

Participants, presenters, vendors, employees, and staff are strongly encouraged to be alert to, and report to AACC staff any behavior inconsistent with this Code of Conduct. If anyone is made to feel unsafe or unwelcome, that situation should be immediately reported to an AACC staff member by contacting ate@aacc.nche.edu or to Ellen Hause, Associate Vice President, by phone at 202-416-4553.

Persons determined by AACC to have engaged in unacceptable behavior may be excluded from further participation and may be required to depart the conference venue without reimbursement.

By registering for the 2023 ATE Conference, you agree to abide by the conference Code of Conduct. Thank you for helping to make this a welcoming and professionally valuable event for all.
